Modelling the Nissan SR20 exploded engine Tee shirt

Newly uploaded onto the interwebs is a modelled photoshoot of our SR20 exploded engine Tee shirt!

Up until now, we have been relying on illustrations with some descriptive text to communicate the experience of the SR20DETee as we so affectionately call it. Although these have been serving incredibly well until now, I’m very excited to be able to finally have a modelled photo-shoot done as it’s been something I've wanted to do since the very founding days of Level UP Apparel.

There is a certain depth that photographs offer which cannot be experienced by illustrations or text alone. The experience is highly visual and Arnold Schwarzenegger, one of my heros (amongst many of my other heros) speaks in great length about visualisation and it's powerful link with our mental and physical potential. Through this series of photographs of the SR20 exploded engine tee (or SR20DETee) on our nameless model, you will begin to build a more comprehensive experience of the garment. You’ll see where the Tee sits firm and where it sits relaxed, you’ll feel how it pulls on your body as you move, you’ll understand how it responds when you stretch your body out. These are things that words cannot easily express! I can go on about this for days!

Our model here is donning a Small SR20 exploded engine Tee shirt in Toxic on Asphalt colour scheme.

The 180gsm 100% cotton garment is the ideal consistency. Not too thin to be fragile, not too thick to build-up sweat. It's stretchy enough to contour to any body and retain its original shape when done. It's athletically cut so as to bring out the best in any wearer. Even if you have a slightly more prosperous girth, you needn't worry about this Tee not fitting you. Here, you will see how the SR20DETee sits when stretching the body. The length is ideal in that it neither gets caught on the trousers nor lifts to reveal too much skin. Notice how the cut/fitment reveals the shoulders, arms and lats, yet cleverly disguises the waistline.

Some areas of anxiety that I commonly come across regarding Tee shirts involves the neck area and armpit area. I hear a lot of complaints about necks and armpits that are too tight, or don't sit quite right pulling either towards the back or the front. For that reason, many people choose V-necks or loose Tees compromising styling for comfort. Witness above how Level UP garments sit on both the neck and in the armpits. This Tee was designed to compromise on nothing: Not on fitment, not on comfort not on style.

The previous photos show that our Tees are made with form and function in mind. That is, they fit great and don't compromise in comfort. But what about quality? Also, they're preshrunk so you don't have to worry about further shrinking in the wash.

No dry cleaning, no special drying required, just wash it as you would your hardiest of clothes - detergent cold water and a washing machine. The prints are made with a resilient ink that is made to last as long as the shirt does.
